GS400 is very reasonable product for someone who wants to get into footage with cinema feel, but since it is not real progressive cam, people should see what is available above. My plan is to make the XL2 the main camera and GS400s for the subs.

I was not sure to buy DVX100a because it does not have hi-res wide mode. But since XL2 does have hi-res wide mode, it could be ideal for me. I'm not sure of actual video quality ( I can guess because I owned XL1 before), but by intelligent guess, there should be enough improvements.
