This new price might help some that were considering a PDX10 to choose the DVC30. B&H had recently dropped the price on the PDX10 to $1850 and you had to think people would "financially" lean more towards it especially with the XLR adapter not being optional as it is on the DVC30.
Thanks for the link Bo. |

That's excellent news. When I started to calculate the DVC30 and adding in the XLR adapter and all that, it was better to simply buy the DVC80 from B&H or just buy the $2,900 DVX100 (not A) from Profeel. This price makes it a contender against the GL2 and the PDX10. Thanks for posting this!
And in case no one's mentioned it yet, there's also an offer on the Panasonic site for 10 free tapes with the purchase of DVC30 from an authorized dealer, like B&H. http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=68840&catGroupId=14571&displayTab=R&surfModel=AG-DVC30&surfCategory=DV%20PROLINE%20Camcorders |
