actually I think we have all specs confirmed at that point.

I think the last one to be confirmed was the CCD size, which was confirmed by Pana some days ago =)

i'd still like to see some offical specs of that CCD size, as we all know some of the specs on even the Panasonic sites are wrong ie spain and russian site. Where did panasonic confirm the size of the CCDs?? i'd like to see it for myself if i can. it's always good to read more about the GS400 =)

it's just a shame my Japan to london train ride has been cancelled though =(

i really wanted to go on that this year, i had the perfect Narrator for my video documentory of it =)

If it's just 1 "graphic," gif or jpg, send it so I can take a look and post it, if it's any good. Pana sent me a couple of GS400 ad "graphics" about 2 months ago, but they are kind of useless.

Thanks. Attempting to look there only gave me the bagua of java script errors before she locked up like a clam. So, I won't be able to let you know. Sorry. I usually take a boo at Guy's site when I'm at the gym, which has been a while since I've been there. I can get into Tommy's site, though. :-))

1/4.7" CCD, 690Kx3 video pixel, 43mm thread, 3D Noise Reduction, and 2 Lux!

Pana did make great efforts on low light performance. I expect GS400 will beat SONY's HC1000 pants down!

690K X 3?? This is for the PAL version? Oh, oh..., there goes the resolution; and 1/4.7 CCDS are still small---not much bigger than 1/6" CCDs. Ask Tommy. :-))

2 lux is good for run and gun when there is no light from the sun. Is 1/4.7 Sony trv950 ccds from Sony? How much pixels is good for video?
