question for Allan
Someone asked me to post this question:
Panasonic claims 1mp stills for the gs100k- with its 1/6" ccds. The manual ties it to ability to make quality prints. Maybe Allan can help with a better translation - page 131 of the Japanese manual, second para in the right hand column. Thanks! |

About 1 million-pixel: A megapixel-recorded image can be printed more fine than that taken by standard (non-megapixel) recording. In order to maintain the (high) quality of image, please print using the image data stored in a card. (If the cam is connected via cable (video, etc.), and image data/signal is taken from the output port and printed, the fine quality of a megapixel image is not obtained).
Note that exactly the same paragraph is also contained in the MX5000 manual. |
