pre-GS4 blues

So we sort of know what Pana has in store. A MX5 replacement to be sure. If its pic is right then we know it'll have a fatter lens and inspecting its specs we see its really a GS-one-zero-zero but in a nicer MX5-like body, polished and clean Now all what's left is to look ahead for our big summer date. Can't wait---WAIT!? Could it be Pana has another surprise? And one destined for only Japan? That'll be better, you know, especially if it will have one of those multi-language menus. Plus it'll be cheaper, exclusive and smart. Did I mention, chic? Maybe black too. There ya go.

PS: this is not speculation, but rather panasonical. History repeats. :-))

What exactly is the pro cinema mode? Is it frame mode? Is there some kind of cine-gamma included? This sounds like a pretty sweet cam.

I owned the gs100 and pro cinema mode was the faux 16x9 combined with 30fps progressive. It looks decent if you don't blow it up. Of course transfer to film is a b#$#$@ because of the 30p.

I'm really hoping for native 16x9, but I don't think I'm going to get it.
