i have heard
THAT most ALL of the foreign PAL markets… are getting set to receive LAST YEAR’s MX7000
as a GS400 - as one source claims he has been told. AND THAT A SUCCESSOR TO THE MX7000 (GS100) WILL BE ANNOUNCED FIRST WEEK OF JUNE 2004 and rolled out in the 3rd Week of 2004 I THINK THIS IS GOING TO PROVE TRUE. |

John you are wrong. Or your source is, anyway.
look at what specs/info Pana-UK, Pana-BE, Pana-ES are posting. GS400 is NOT GS100. please don't throw disinformation without even checking it first. you got June right.. that about the time GS400 will be announced... and in July becomes available. here's some RELIABLE info: specs part 1 specs part 2 specs part 3 ps. John.. reading good ol' supervideo.com , eh? =)) |

=)
don't take it personally, it's just silly to go over the same things again ;) look at the specs for GS400 and GS100 and you'll see how different they are.. |

Listen up! What all of you GS400 info seekers should be doing is contacting Panasonic. Here is Pana's contact page:
http://panasonic.co.jp/pavc/global/cs/index.html Make sure you post the replies here. :-)) |

Frank, I don't think whomever is answering the e-mails will be privet to that information anyway...
but.. I think you should bug Pana-canada =) to order a few GS400 for us too... and nag them for the high prices. DV953 is between 700 and 1000$ (depending on the dolar rate) more expensive here than in US! US msrp - 1499$ = about 2050$Can (at can$/us = 0.73c) Canadian msrp 2750$ who would buy in Canada...? |
