night mode verses 16:9
I'd rather have the DVC30's night mode, than the PDX100's 16:9---that is if it actually works well (at night). However, why can't the DVC30 have both? This makes me wonder. There are times I would want and need good 16:9. Is Pana going to come to the rescue and supply us with the goods? Or will it be from one of the other cam manufacturers!
I mean, why couldn't the DVC30 also come with 16:9 found on the lower priced GS100? Or even a better 16:9 on par or better than that of the PDX10? After all, the DVC30 is a Pana Pro cam. I want more beef! |

I haven't "heard" of a price yet. The B&H site has DVC30 info posted, but no posted price. I assume it will have to be cheaper than the DVC80, but I have this feeling it will be about the same---because it's small and it has a night mode. Just my opinion.

yeah i have a sinking suspicion that it will be about the same too. You'd think that anyone who's willing to drop over 2k on a cam would have the sense to go with the bigger chips. I smell a discontinuation and i don't mean the little guy.
