I Have a question about 16:9 on the GS100k
First Off I love the GS100K. Im so amazed by this camera, coming from a trv900 this thing smokes the Sony.
Now to my question.. What I want todo is shoot some 16:9 footage and import into premier pro as : 16:9 30P. I shot some footage this weekend when I went snowboarding and set up the camera with the on screen menu for cinema mode and frames. this set up is the one with black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. When I import the footage into premier the black bars are still there even though I set up premier with the Dv 16:9 30p widemode in the settings? I'm guessing that I should have used the Cinema mode button on the outside of the camera (the one that compresses the image and fills the frame) the mode without the bars... ohh well you learn. Any help would be great!!! I read the boards alot and I find myself spending hours looking over all the great info thats on here.. Thanks to all posters!!!! Keep it up... Max |
