New DV953 at DVinfo.net

Just got my new PV-DV953, fresh from B&H. The 78 cent Canadian dollar was too much to resist. So far I am very impressed. Thanks to those from this group who answered my many questions via email.

Yes, a very nice cam. My first hands on look at the PV-DV953 was actually from a forum member who bought it from B&H. Even then the cam was a lot cheaper from buying it from B&H than locally (with a lower Canadian Dollar). The Canadian price was about $2450, maybe a tad more.

The PV-DV953 hit the US Market about 1 month before they arrived on Canadian shelves.

Congratualtions Brain - hope you enjoy your new DV953.

I had my 953 up against some Canon GL1's the other day.... no comparison and the DV953 looked sharper and the color of the parkay basketball floors was much more accurate.

We hope you enjoy the camera for years to come.

Just got my 953 two weeks ago. I couldn't be more pleased.
Next week I start a project with a pretty intensive schedule. I can't wait to give it a good run.
