External mic on 953 at DVinfo.net

I bought my mx500 second hand and with it came a mic from jvc. it is a good looking mike and i am happy with the quality however i was not given the manuals for it and i would appreciate if someone knows anything about it or any good sites that i might find it at. thanks
the model number is MZ-320
it is a JVC super directional mic.

How does this "super directional" mic work for you on your MX5?

im pretty happy with it. i would just like to know some specs on it just for interest sake. it is definately a better than the standard mic however it is only mono so works on one channel only. this is the only drawback. it would be alright if it was left and right mono rather than left mono.

I'm actually doing a little digging into an inexpensive mic for my cams. Information is difficult to obtain, I find. Some of the members here have provided me with a lot of info and links. There's 4 mics on my short list now to check out for myself, if I can find them locally.
