Hi John,
I am unable to play your kiddo videos. I remember sone earlier posts with kiddo mpgs which wouldn't play. I have PC XP and tried three different players, with same result, the player would fault.
Windows Player
QuickTime
Creative Player
Yours are the only that wouldn't play.
I can even play partial downloads from usenet.
As I am intetested in the same cam I would like to see your shoots very much.
The grabs look impressive.
Thanks

mpeg2 is a DVD stream, so you must have some sort of DVD player software to play it on. Are you using windows media9?

If it helps Nero is the decoder I use to play.

This is a fairly large clip, 6 seconds or so each, so they'll take a while to download. They're 1280 x 720 x 30P MPG2 files, so to play them back at full speed you'll need a FAST computer. Encoded on Vegas with Mainconcept MP2.

Hi,

I still have a problem with kiddo.mpg.

Downloaded latest Ms media player 9, installed it it, plays all my other clips no problems.

It plays your latest snowboarding clip, I found the .wmv version slightly better than the .mov version, still a lot of compression artefacts but a great footage.

Downloaded the kiddo again and no, it will not play. Don't have Nero DVD utility. I use a PC with XP, P2.53, 1Gb memory. Should be fast enough. Plays 300Mb mpg clips no problem.

Is it only me? Can the rest of you guys play the kiddo.mpg?

Thanks
