Beachtek with DV852 at DVinfo.net

Does anyone have any actual experience with the Beachtek XLR adapters with the Panny DV852? I want to run an AT835b shotgun and Senn. EW100 wireless lav with this camera. I'm really wondering how the mic gain will function.

I've never used one on my Pana, but I do use one on my JVC 1 chip, DVL9500 from time to time. Works like a charm---thanks to my buddy's Beach and Senn.
