Is DV952 worth $750? Or maybe DV953 or GS100 or SONY?
I'm new to DV. Only experience are ZR70 , DV202 & PC101. Not too inpressed with them. ZR70 is OK with daylight. I'm getting TRV22/33 when I saw a closeout DV952 for $750. Is it worth $750? Or I should spend some more for DV953(I don't like the menu control thro) or even GS100. Are they better than TRV22/33 indoor & outdoor? Seems GS100 is pretty good indoor cam.
Thank you for your help. |

You mention "indoor/outdoor." I assume you mean which cam is better in lower light. Then I would add, the TRV33 would be the better cam for shooting in lower light. However, this is a 1 CCD cam and so it does not have the better color saturation nor OIS (and controls) as those 3 CCD Panasonics. Which one's best? The GS100, then the PV-DV953. But I wouldn't call these 2 indoor cams, unless you turn up the light. :)
