XA20 vs AC90 low light test

I just rented a XA20. I really liked it. My second choice is the AC90. I assume you have both. Which one do you like the best. I like the buttons on the AC90.

Well Andy, they are real close but if the AC90 had 20X zoom I would have two of them. I like the manual controls and the size is perfect. I'm going to give the xa20 a go at my next wedding and see how I like it. I'm sure I will have more after using the XA in wedding situations.

Tim, I took the plunge and purchased a new XA20. So far I really like it. I had a JVC HM150, and I do miss some of the buttons. But the 20x lens is nice and does not soften much even at 20x!
I have set the detail to -2 and the contrast to -2 to get the picture a little flatter for better post grading. So good! |
