AG-AF100 Firmware Ver 1.24 released
Panasonic recently released AG-AF100 series Firmware Ver 1.24 at the link below.

Ver 1.24 At rare intervals, red horizontal line / band noise appears in low temperature ( 0°C / 32°F).The problem has been solved. Also mentions this additional update, which is not free: The following functions are added. Optional Function 1. New “PS” mode (maximum 28Mbps), supporting “AVCHD Progressive” standard, records high-quality Full HD progressive signals (1080/60p* and 1080/50p). *59.94Hz 2. I haven't been able to sort out this free upgrade from the one Panasonic features on their website for $250. Also, has anyone installed and used it yet, for 60p shooting? I'm wondering if any overheating problems could develop with longer segments. I was expecting there would be some talk here by now, about a comparison between the AG-AF100a and the GH3.

The AG-SFU100 paid upgrade adds:
1080/60p 1080/50p 2.39:1 marker We've got them in stock for $219 at Texas Media Systems. |
