Breaking Files
I am using a panasonic ag-hmc40 cam. My question is if I shoot for 60 mins, my SD cards breaks the AVCHD files into 2 shots. Is there some way to shoot for 60 mins and have just one file to download? This is really bad when I go to shoot a wedding and I have to put the 2 clips together and I get a one second skip on the timeline...Looks very unprofessional.

Re: Breaking Files
I use Vegas and it has a function that "blends" the MTS files together. A buddy has used the MTS File joiner - he loves it.

Re: Breaking Files
Hey Herm, I use Vegas also, can you share how to blend the two together? Is it a tab or button?

Re: Breaking Files
Click "View", then click "Device Explorer"...it automatically builds multiple file segments in to one long video file with no audio gaps. You can check out device explorer in the "help" section of Vegas for details.
