TM900 24p Native?
Is the 24p mode on the TM900 native or is it 24p with pulldown added, making it 60i?

Re: TM900 24p Native?
As far as I'm aware the only true progressive shooting format on the TM900 is the (absolutely awesome) 1080p50 AVCHD2, or in non-PAL countries 1080p60 of course. All other shooting formats are interlaced variants of AVCHD - which I avoid using (have only used an interlaced setting once in 10 months of ownership).
I'd be happy to be proved wrong through!

Hi
Yes 24p is delivered in 60i. The only 'native' progressive mode is 60p (or 50p for Europe) Regards Phil |

Ok thanks. Is anyone removing the pulldown for editing? If so, how?

Re: TM900 24p Native?
Hi
I thought software like Sony Vegas would do this automatically? I'm in PAL land so it's a bit easier for us as we get 25p in 50i. Regards Phil |
