HMC-150 & zebra bars
What are your zebra bars set at? mine are set at %80 and ive been shooting hot video I think im going to drop them to 70.

From what I read, 60 - 70% seems the preferred value for skin tones, although I just have them set for 100 for overexposure and trust my eye for skin tones. (Event work).

Hi Randy
Normal Caucasian skin tone is supposed to zebra at something like 68% so if you need to expose for skintones then 70 is cool but most of the EVF on a sunny day will show zebras almost all the time!!! 70 would give you very accurate skin exposure but be a bit of a pain during general filming!!! I find that even at 90 I get zebras on a sunny day but that is to warn me about backlighting at weddings Chris |
