Class 10 Cards
HI
We just got a bunch of new Kingston 16 GIG SDHC cards for our HMC-150's .... none of them will format in the cameras! Tried them in a couple of little SD-100's .... no joy there either. The cards all work in my Canon 60D! Is there a speed class issue developing here? Anyone else noticed this? Best Lee |

Re: Class 10 Cards
FYI
I found there was a firmware update for the 150's that was meant to take care of this issue. Applied it, but it had no effect on the problem. The cameras are out working now, so I'll investigate more later. No updates for the HDC-SD100 card cameras ... built in obsolescence! Lee |

Re: Class 10 Cards
I have both the 150 and the hmc-80, and I have 32 gig cards that will not format from either one of these camcorders. However, if I format them in my T3i, they then work perfectly well in the camcorders. I can't understand it, either.

Re: Class 10 Cards
Hi Guys
I was warned away from Kingston a long time back. I stick to either Transcend (Class 6 and 10) or Sandisk 10's (either the 30mbps or 45 mbps) and never an issue in over 5 years with both the HMC82's and the newer AC-130's I think Bruce Foreman also has issues on his Canon DSLR's with Kingston.
