SD90 "Control Data Error has been detected"
Hi guys, has anybody else experienced this? When I delete the MTS files off of the SD card via my PC using a SD to USB adaptor and then put the card back in the SD90, I get the error "Control Data Error has been detected" and then "some scenes need repairing". The blank icon then gets deleted. I can replicate this each time. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Re: SD90 "Control Data Error has been detected"
Hi Kevin
Very simple!! Never delete files off a card with your PC!!! Always format the card in the camera! That way the data is not only deleted but the correct folder structure is also created on the card too so the camera can find what it's looking for! Chris |
