Viewfinder images very dark!
Hello all
Picked up an AF101 yesterday at the BVE show. After trying it out briefly, I noticed the LCD screen on the side of the camera is a decent quality - but when you close it and try to use the viewfinder on the back, the image is so dark - too dark to work with. Has anyone else had this issue, or do you think it may be a problem with my camera? Maybe I may be better off buying something like a hoodman for the LCD screen so I could use it in bright conditions? Thanks, Sparky www.sparkymedia.net |

Have you tried showing bars and then adjusting the VF and LCD.
I do this every time I the location or light changes. And no I have not noticed the VF being dark. I find it to be quite good. Let us know if your problems continue even after adjustment.

The EVF can be set exactly the same as the LCD.
Sounds like someone was playing the camera before you picked it up! Cheers, Vaughan |
