adjustable auto iris?
can you tell me what this means? does it mean you can adjust it so the auto-iris is automatically a little darker or lighter than it would be without an adjustment?

Yes you can set the iris to over or under expose in the menus.
If you use cine gamma it is usually a good idea to under expose 1/2 stop. The best use of auto iris is to aim the camera at the important part of the frame set iris then turn auto iris off and fine tune using the waveform. Or really the best is just to skip auto anything. Manual means you are in control not the camera.

thanks - that's great to know. I never use auto iris because it seemed like it was always too hot!
