AVCHD PH Mode specs
couldn't find this on a search - can someone point me to the recording specs for AVCHD PH mode?
I'm trying to understand where it's quality ranks against DVCPRO HD and others... I've seen people mentioning converting from AVCHD PH recording to other formats. why? thanks a lot! |

Maybe this will get you started.... Full-HD (1080p) Variable Frame Rate Recording. An AVCHD Recording for Creative, High-Quality Image Production. | AG-AF100 series | Panasonic
They are transcoding their footage into an editing format codec. All the Best! Dave |

thanks for the response. I just spent a few hours reading about the af100, and it doesn't have a power zoom, which I really need. so I guess I won't be getting one. :(

Nope! No power zoom, which I don't need shooting TV commercials.
