Thanks for schooling me (sometimes I need it) - so are you saying for example that the subject (or person) shot on a 4/3 sensor with a 25mm lens would be no closer to the lens if shot on full frame using a 50mm lens?
Guess that makes sense, the sensor is half the size but so is the lens so AOV is the same. I stand corrected. |

Yes, both cameras would be shooting from the same position and would record the same angle of view. And if you allow for the 2 F-Stop difference in lens settings ( 25mm f/2.0 vs 50mm f/4.0 ) the image recorded will look identical. ( same DOF )
