HMC150 or the 40 - 2x digital zoom - good or bad?
Has anyone tried the 2x digital zoom on the 150/40 - if so, how does it look? Does it degrade greatly?

Google can. hmc150 +"digital zoom". First hit:
HMC150 Digital Zoom Review Nothing unexpected. We're talking about a digital zoom, after all. Best, Aaron

The 2x digital zoom on the HMC40 does degrade the image. In the 720p mode, it isn't too much, but is worse in the 1080 mode. For best results, avoid using.
