The Triangle Bar, a dive bar in downtown Stuart, FL that has been around in one incarnation or another for close to 100 years, finally closed its doors for good on Sunday. Today, everything from the bar - from bar stools to utensils to the bar signs and flag pole - went on the auction block. The crowd included bikers, lawyers, construction workers - everyone seemed to have a favorite Triangle story. The one guy I interviewed wouldn't go on camera with this story, but he said he had his first drink at the Triangle at age 16 when his mom brought him in on New Year's Eve so he wouldn't go out with his buddies and get in trouble.
