Panasonic camera to Sony VRD-MC10 DVDirect?
Anyone tried this?
Will a Panasonic HMC-150 "talk" nicely to a Sony DVD recorder for AVCHD footage? (I read somewhere that both companies jointly developed the AVCHD standards or specs, so I would hope so, but the Sony web page also seems to emphasize the DVDirect works specifically with their Handycam line, so I'm uncertain a Panasonic would work). I'd feel much better getting confirmation from someone w/experience - and success - doing it. It would also be nice if I could connect my HVX to the DVDirect for SD recording via Firewire, and it would be great if Panasonic made a similar/complimentary unit for their products for both SD and AVCHD. All feedback welcome. Thanks.
