Spare HMC batteries
Hi all
I was just wondering what everyone is using for a spare set of batteries for either the HMC70 or 150. Due to the ID security in the battery you cannot use any generic battery (unless some company have figured out a way of bypassing it!!) The only company I can see that Panasonic have allowed to produce batteries is IDX ..otherwise you are stuck with Pananasonic which here are crazy prices!!! ($300 for the 2640mah!!!) Who's using what for their backup set??? Chris |

Can you mail order the Panasonic battery for about $200AUD + shipping? That should be under the $300AUD local cost.

Thanks!! I actually looked into B&H but they want crazy shipping prices (US$47!!!) I actually got hold of my cam supplier (Global Media Pro) and they will supply for AUS$232 and only AUS$13 for courier delivery!!! Chris |
