Using upcoming Panasonic HCK10 with 35mm Adapter?

I was wondering if anyone else has thought about using the upcoming Panasonic AG-HCK10/HMR10 combo with a 35mm adapter? I considered trying this with the Sony MC1 setup but that had too many drawbacks (single chip, interlaced only, a low AVCHD bit rate). The HCK10 on the other hand seems to basically be an HMC40 in a smaller, stripped down form factor with all the camera controls moved to the HMR10 recording unit. It has great specs, a higher bit rate AVCHD, progressive video, multiple frame rates, and 3 CMOS chips. It also has a removable umbilical cable that would allow one to use a shorter cable and mount the record deck directly on the 35mm adapter via a noga or israeli arm. The HCK10 would then just act as the imager for your 35mm adapter which is all you really need. Of course this is all speculation until they release the thing in October, but it's an interesting prospect none the less. One thing that I have not been able to determine is whether it will have a front threading on the lens. That would obviously be critical for use with a 35mm adapter.

Found some additional info on the Panny POVCam here:

AG-HMR10

It does appear to have a 43mm front thread. I can't wait to try this thing out with my Handy 35 adapter.

I would probably buy the HMR-10 just to get an HD-SDI recorder that can record to SD cards. Curiously though the specs list 1080/60i and 720/60p (or 50i/50p for PAL) as the only available frame rates if recording to the HMR10 via HD-SDI from another camera.
