Got it today. All I have to say is WOW. This is going to take a bit to get comfortable shooting with this. This thing is light for its size. Trying to figure out the best way to hold while shooting off the tripod.

I used the hmc-150 for the first time on a project doing some corporate videos and it did a GREAT job!
I filmed the interview and other footage using 1080-30p and the results were very sharp and great colors. I used automatic settings and am very pleased. I am a big fan of cineform Prospect HD so it was so easy to convert the avchd clips to cineform .avi. The latest Prospect HD has a program included called First Light which does a GREAT JOB of color correcting film footage. Cineform is not cheap but I could not imagine editing HD without it. As for HMC-150 - I can not imagine using a tape camcorder anymore. Tapeless is the way to go! Simon |

Thats great to hear. Been looking at Cineform Neoscene my self since I am on a mac. A bit pricey but if the the quality is there, worth the money. I just need to find out if iMovie/FCE will transcode again when I bring it in. I've played a little with 720/30 and 720/60. Next is to try 1080/30 to compare. Could you tell me if there was any jaggies from fast movements (if any)?

Not sure about jaggies because this was corporate video work so no fast pans or anything. All quite slow.
If you have the $$, get cineform, you will not be disappointed!! Simon |
