cineform neo scene - cs4 question

Hello, I know there are plenty of threads talking abt intermediary codec use in order to deal with avchd editing. My question however is specific to neo scene. when I convert a 1080p avchd file to the cineform avi using the neo scene codec. what timeline do i import this cineform avi in ? i mean shd i just import the output from neoscene in the avchd 1080p timeline in cs4? also, when i try doing that, the image playback is still of poor quality compared to if i convert the avchd into dvcprohd using the pany software. please note i am not commenting on the quality of the 2 videos (cineform vs dvcprohd) but just the play back and my systems ability to handle these files. i was hoping converting via neo scene would make my life easier, but system is still running slow. am i importing the 1080p cineform avi in the right timeline .. ?? might be a dumb question -but in all the threads i read, none exclusively specified which timeline to import under for cs4. thank you all or reading. |
