Sony HVR-V1U Videos Online
Question:
Is there a reason why videos on the internet made by the Sony HVR-V1U look so blurry? I'm just about to purchase a camera and I was convinced for the longest time to get the Canon XL2. However, I was attracted to the new Sony and the fact that it is HD however I have yet to see any video online from the HVR-V1U that looks better than one produced by a standard everyday camcorder. I know the down conversion erodes some picture quality but I haven't seen one video produced by the Sony that looks better online than the standard definition Canon XL2. What gives? |

I'd suggest to scroll further down and check out the threads dedicated to the V1. There have been a few postings of still images from the V1, and in my opinion, it produces absolutely superb images- for a sub $5k camera that is!
