Okay, thanks. The important thing is, if I go up to one of them young'uns at home depot and say "point me to the plastic sheeting" they'll know what the hell I'm talking about, right? Not like the time they didn't know what a chuck was (for a drill).

good ideas... usually blacking out widows isn't that had (black sheets work wonders) but ND'ing the light coming in can be a pain and DANG expensive.
I'm getting ready to shoot a short film at the end of the month that takes place at night so we're searching for every way we can work it. We rent from this one grip house in NYC that will "rent" you a roll of good ND window material and basically only charge you for what you keep. Sooo, we are very carefull with it, cut it off in big sheets and basically are borrowing it. UNLESS we have a client on who's dime we can cut it to form for a window and soap it down. Then we go all out. (G) |
