Made from a piece of aluminum from Home Depot, three foot long. Cut it down to about 25 inches. Since the latest picture, I made a bit bigger one, 27 inches that I think is better. I had cut my first attempt a little short, so I had to bolt a piece on. Latest version is all one piece. I bent the aluminum off the edge of a table or in a vice, as needed. The curl at the top is not needed. Thought I was going to mount something there, but design changed. Drilled holes for screws. Easy enough. Took a piece of wood, cut a cup shape in to rest Letus in. Got a bolt that has wood screw on one end, and machine thread on other. Drilled pilot hole in the wood bottom and threaded in with wood end. Adapter rest can move up and down by adjusting nuts, and knob. Knob came from Blue Collar supply in Sacramento. Cool place with all kinds of stuff to fiddle with.
That is a trusty old Polaroid 16:9 DVD player with AV in on top. It just rides on velcro, attachments, but I hope to change to a different monitor for better viewing and focusing. At a minimum, I want to bolt down the player in some way.
