Ma 300 on Sony VX2100
Hi guys, This is my first post on your forum, I have a question I am hoping someone can answer. Will the MA300 work on the Sony VX2100.
I know that beachtec makes an adapter that will work, but if I have to use the Beachtec, How do I mount my ME66 shotgun mic to my camera. Thanks for any info you guys can give me. |

No. The Canon MA-300 is compatible only with Canon three-chip camcorders equipped with the Advanced Accessory Shoe. It will not work with non-Canon camcorders, sorry. There are a variety of available mic clamps for attaching your ME66 to your VX2100... here's one example. Hope this helps -- welcome aboard,
