Question about mac warrenty
Even though, I don't have a camcorder so far, I am a regular
visitor to this site. I am looking for a consumer model with good manual controls for now. If I am doing good (filming shorts) with it, I will go for a professional model. Basically, I am shopping for a camcorder "Canon Optura 20". Its for sale online from $650-$800 range. I would like to get extended warrenty. There is this "Mac 4 year extended" warrenty offered by most of them. It ranges from $75-$125. My question is, Is this the warrenty given by Canon or by the seller. If I have any problem, who should I sent the unit. Seller or Canon? Is this warrenty going to be same if I buy at B&H or any cheaper online shop. Is there any advantage buying a consumer model from big shop compared to cheaper small shop. By the way, has any one used Canon Optura 20? How is the quality and low light performance. Thanks in advance. - Srini |

Mac is there own company. They are providing the warranty. It is impossible for us to say with 100% certainty what another company will guarantee. Your questions concerning warranties are best directed towards the sellers of such warranties.
