Taiyo-Yuden DVDs.
I've just got a pack of 50 Taiyo Yuden DVD-R inkjet printable, from a local supplier. The printed specs are quite something.
There's no TY name pressed on 'em anywhere and the edges are quite sticky. Anyone using these? Thx. |

These are 16x: are the edges sticky on your lot James?
The supplier says they buy 'em in batches of 600. They decant them into these cheap plastic pods. With only a TY typed sticker on the lid and the tacky edges, I'm going mmmm a bit. |

My DVDs come from Taiyo in a box of 6 individual 'cake' holders that contain 100 DVDs each. Even when I order a couple of thousand, they are shipped like this. The sides are never tacky. Maybe your vendor is causing this when he re-packages them. There are a lot of fake brand or inferior DVDs out there, so it is good that you are investigating.
