Post Your PC / Mac specs!

Hey Everyone. I was just wondering what you guys are running on to work on your videos. Strictly Mac? PC? I'm looking to upgrade my PC and hunting for a Mac. Don't know whats the minimum requirement to edit videos... well.. here's my pc....

Dell P4 2.8Ghz
Win XP
2GB Ram
20GB SATA Hard drive
GeForce 7100 GS Video card

*I have 2 external ATA Hard drives (250GB and 300 GB)... they are full by the way.... sigh.

Dell Inspirion 6000 Intel Centrino
Windows XP Media Edition
1GB Ram
40GB Hard drive
ATI Mobility Radeon X300 video card

I'm a college student... so this will have to do for now =)

MAC G5 1.8 single processor with whatever came with it. 2G RAM. 160G & 200G internal HD. 2-250G EXT Firewire HD (Lacie). 1-80G Ext HD.

Video Editing software: Final Cut Pro HD, DVD Studio Pro, Compressor, SoundTrack Pro, Live Type, Cinema Tools, Motion, Live type, MPEG Streamclip, MPRG2WORKS, Toast7, iMovie, iPhoto, Keynote, Pages, Garage Band, and a bunch of other stuff that piggybacked onto the above.
Image Editing: PhotoShop Elements4. StillLife, Artdirectors'sToolKit, VRWORX, Canon's bundle of stuff, Fuji's bundle of stuff

MAC G3 Laptop. 20 G HD. 640 M RAM
Video: iMovie, Keynote, Pages, Final Cut Express, Garage Band, iRiver Music Manager.
Image: Photoshop Elements 4

There is also a PC in the house. It has two roles. Quicken and scanning images (because Microtek was to cheap to produce updates for MAC OS10.4 and I am too cheap to buy another scanner).

My PC:

Intel Pentium D, Dual 3.0GHz
1GB RAM
160GB Hard drive
Nvidea GeForce 8800GTS

My MAC:

17" iMac
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz
1GB RAM
160GB Hard drive
ATI Radeon X1600

The iMac also runs windows xp great. No problems so far ... and I'm not so knowledgable with macs, are the video cards readily upgradable, or are you pretty much stuck with what you ordered?

Also, to the person asking what the minimum requirements for video editing is ... if you're shooting standard def, I still use this system for editing and it runs fine:

12" iBook
800MHz
256MB RAM
30GB Hard drive
