Anton Bauer battery charging question
I have a quick question about the Anton Bauer gold mount. If I have the gold mount and a battery attached to it, is there any way to charge the battery while it's on the camera without one of those titan on-camera chargers? In other words, can the gold mount itself charge a battery?
The camera is an HD100. Thanks |

Hi Jad,
Unfortunately, no. Anton Bauer batteries are quite sophisticated and the AB chargers are really the only devices that can communicate with them appropriately. If you want uninterrupted power, and can't use AC, Anton Bauer does make a hot-swappable gold mount, in which you mount one battery on each side. When one dies you may remove it, and the second battery will keep the power going. The dead one can be placed on a charger and be replaced by a live one. Hope this helps. Best, Afton |

The Titan-70/Tandem-70 (name change at last NAB) is a charger or A/C power supply, it does not do both at the same time.
So you can operate the camera of of an A/C mains or charge the battery. We went for the smallest size and weight when making this unit. Scott Keyworth Anton/Bauer, Inc |
