Stripes on the footage

i'm having troble with a footage i recorded in an interlaced camera setting. at the final cut or the quick time everything seems rigth but when i burn the dvd the fields get messed up and the image gets all stripped, i know this is a basic question but, could anyone help me with that? thank you

Any chance you shot in 24P or something and tried to edit in a 29.97 timeline.

no, i used the pvgs250, it onlyy records in 29.97 interlaced , i start thinking that i probabli captured it wrong at the final cut... thank you
