GV EXPO - Anyone else going?
The Government Video and Technology Expo is December 5-7 in DC. Even if you're not in Government video it'll be worth it, almost all the big guys will be there.
My day job is a producer/editor for a small PEG channel in Maryland... So the bosses are paying me to wander around the place all day. It's a tough job, but somebody has got to it. www.gvexpo.com/ |

I'm going as well. I went to last year's and was impressed. It has gotten a lot bigger, and many of my colleages from WEVA will be there too. I have not gone to the sessions because the trade show was enough.
If you have ever been to the WEVA Expo and Trade show, the GV Expo Trade Show is much bigger than WEVA's show, BUT you can't make on the spot purchases and equipment deals as you can at WEVA. Many exhibitors at WEVA sell off all their display items because the attendees are largely business owners and not government employees. That can be good too, because GV Expo is less chaotic. |
