my shopping list
I thought I would post a list of stuff I am currently looking for used, in case anyone is thinking of selling some stuff, or knows someone who is.
Large pro camera bag, like the PortaBrace C2C-3. Large Pelican case, like the 1650 2 good video tripods Beachtek XLR adapter, or maybe a MA100. Probably more when I remember it....

Regarding a Pelican case, you can buy similar cases at automotive joints that sell tools and stuff.

How much are those bags? I will be needing one for a GL2. What would be the best choice? I will want room for accessories.

The Pelican cases are hard plastic cases with foam inside---which you cut to fit in the cam. There are a number of sizes. They are not expensive, but automotive supply stores sell similar cases for a lot less. (20 - 35% less? Something like that.)

Bag
Dylan,
I'll send you an email tonight from home with photos/measurements, on a large bag I bought with my GL1. It's just sitting around doing nothing but collecting dust. Don't know if it will work for you, but I'll let you check it out

Dan, looking forward to getting that info.
Dave, sent you an e-mail. Going to auto parts store tomorrow to look for cases. I have a few Home Depot cases (the large ones on rollers), but they aren't quite the dimensions I'm looking for. Stewert, were you asking the price of the Porta Brace bags, or the Pelican case? The answer is something like $250-$300us either way.
