Anyone using HP Media Center?
Hi there... this is a bit of an odd-ball question, but I have a new HP computer with the Media Center software. I can hook up a VCR, and record a VHS tape that I can then watch back on Media Center, but its a file type I've never seen before, and it isn't recognized by After Effects or Premiere 2.0. Anyone ever used this software to capture VHS to their computer?
Thanks |

I also have a Media Center PC. The format is uses can only be view using the Media Center program or Windows Media Player. There are some programs that will convert these files to a mpg. AutoDVRconvert is a free one, but can be hard to set up. Here is a discussion on it: http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/38951.aspx
