"Lost" TV show
I've been catching up on "Lost" episodes on DVD, and there is something about the visuals that just looks appealing. This is shot on film right? Do they do something with the colors, because they look so rich?
Thanks in advance. I'm just trying to get better at knowin' what I'm seein'. |

Material shot on 35mm usually undergoes color grading at the transfer stage... Kevin Shaw's website has a little information on this.

Lost is shot on 35mm film. There was an American Cinematographer article last year with the two DP's that shoot the show (it's so grueling they take turns).
