Hey Graphics Guy and Chris,
Not sure which particular elbow in Frezzi's ribs instigated this or from whose elbow...probably a combination of nudges...but the Frezzi ordeal has come to an end. I was contacted yesterday by the director of the local Frezzi dealership in Seoul and we arranged to meet earlier today. He came a fair distance through traffic-clogged Seoul to meet with me at a coffee shop near my home and brought his Trade Department manager with him. Explanations and apologies were made, the order was finalized, and then we had a good chat about other DV stuff. I never ever expected THAT much customer service...just filling my order would have been enough. But for them to go out of their way like that to sell one Frezzi light...let's just say I'm a bit stunned. So, Frezzi...I take back every bad thought I'd had about you before. Three months was a pretty long trip to get an order filled...but you've redeemed yourself and then some. |

Cool, John!
Now, how funny is this--just as things are improving for you... I sent off an e-mail to frezzi asking for info about getting barn doors for my frezzi light, and as an aside I mentioned I had a friend in Korea who wanted to get hooked up. Next thing I know, i get an e-mail from a dude in Korea, saying: "I have recevied your problem this morning through the Frezzi USA on your letter which send to Frezzi company, it is some difficult to understand. so I like to contact to you to find what can I help you." But no answer from Frezzi on my barn doors! Maybe your new friend can send me some! :-)
