I could use some Help!

Ok Guys, I am in the Hunting video business, and I am looking into buying another camera. I currently have a dvx 2100. I have been looking into the Canon XL 2. I need a camera that is very rugged, has good zoom, and very good image stabilization. This camera will be traveling all over the world, and in many different climates. Any camera and accessories you could recommend would really help. Thanks Jeff

XL2 is not the most rugged but meets all the rest of your criteria. As long as you have a very good case you should be fine. It is NOT a very easy camera to use however. You might be better off grabbing one of the new Canon HDV cameras when they come out next month.

First, check the sponsors of this site.

All are - and have been researched - and found to be reputable dealers that carry better-than-consumer-level equipment. B&H in NYC is very popular. They have a huge selection, and often have the best price for many, many items.
