Question about an RCA VHS/DVD-R deck from Wal-Mart.
I was at Wal-Mart tonight and saw an RCA DRC8320N. It's a VHS/DVD-R combo drive that also has a DV plug on the front. Now I'm wondering, would this also work as a DV-out to firewire to allow VHS capture?

Hi Josh and welcome to DVinfo. I'd suggest going to RCA's site to get the specs. However, it's highly unlikely that the firewire port on that deck will send data out from the VCR or DVD. Almost every unit I've seen only has firewire input for recording to DVD. See the following related threads:
