AVID-Pump up the Volume?

Does anyone know how to raise the input volume with an AVID 3.0 system when hooked up by fire wire to a Canon GL1. The audio tool works fine for audio punch in to raise input volume on CDs through line in, but does nothing when hooked up to the mini DV source and in Record mode and again using the audio tool?

Thanks, Dan O'Bannon

Not sure about your camera problem, but you shouldn't be running cd's through the line in, just import the file straight from disc.
