Shaky Hands!
Hello,
I have searched and unfortunetly havent come up with a thread to answer my question. Im interesting in buying a Steadicam JR, or JR Lite. What I need to know is how much shaking will this take out of the camera... Having shaky hands of course is a Camera mans worst nightmare! I just want to know how much the steadicam will take out! 2ndly would the Steadicam JR LITE, work properly for an FX1? Even though it is above the weight threshold? Thanks for your help. i used to do a lot of steadycam jr. work... the end effect of the unit is to keep the horizon horizontal :-) not to take the shakes out... it's not something you'd want to do with any kind of zoom.
you'd be better off with optical image stabilization and some kind of a shoulder mount, using the viewfinder... don't expect to shoot your steadiest video by holding a small camera out in front of you, and framing the shot with the fold-out monitor. |
