Need advice on lipstick cameras
Any advice would be helpful on brands, quality, etc. I would like something cigar, pencil or lipstick shape for mounting purposes. The image would have to be worthy of broadcast.
In addition, the camera would have to be able to plug directly into a Sony Watchman or a DV camera. Digital out would be preferable, but s-video would suffice. Thanks in advance!

From the few lipstick "spycams" I've observed first-hand, none of them would be worthy (IMO) for reasonable intercutting with footage that our Canons take... not to mention even the tiniest tap will cause the signal/picture to jitter. I would rate 8mm handycam footage better than that from the cheap spycams.
As I understand it, some of the folks in the biz use professional micro cameras from Elmo Corp http://www.elmo-corp.com/cctv/ |
